Last updated September 2026. Getting from Seville airport to city centre is a road transfer: the airport has no direct train or metro service. The EA bus costs €6 per person; city taxis use published airport tariffs of €26 or €29 under the conditions below. Choose around your hotel, arrival time and luggage, not just the headline journey time.

Seville Airport to City Centre: Choose Your Transfer
Take the EA bus if keeping costs down matters and your accommodation is convenient to its route. A taxi can reduce walking and changes, particularly with bags, but a queue, traffic or pedestrian-only hotel access can erase a time advantage. Private transfers and app-booked cars are additional options, with prices and pickup conditions specific to the booking.
As an editorial planning allowance, leave roughly 45–60 minutes for an EA ride across the city, then add waiting and the final walk. This is a buffer, not a published end-to-end service guarantee. For a car, use a live estimate to your actual address and add pickup time. Do not measure the transfer from touchdown: baggage collection and exiting the terminal come first.
For the rest of the trip, our Seville public transport guide explains how the city modes fit together. Neither an EA ride nor a taxi automatically solves the last stretch to a hotel in the historic centre.
- Solo traveller near an EA stop: the bus is the strongest budget choice.
- Several travellers with large cases: compare the combined bus cost with one appropriately sized vehicle.
- Early departure or delayed arrival: check the correct direction's last/first bus and keep a car option.
- Wheelchair, child seat or oversized item: confirm suitable transport before travelling; do not assume the next vehicle can accommodate it.

Seville Airport EA Bus: Tickets, Stops and Timetable
Follow airport signs for the EA bus at arrivals. Aena's bus information lists €6 single and €8 return, with the return valid only on the day of purchase. It is not a return ticket for the end of a week-long holiday. Tickets can be bought on board; bank-card payment is supported.
The single and return fares do not include a transfer onto another TUSSAM line. Aena also lists the Multiviaje card as accepted, but this does not make EA an ordinary city-bus fare. Check the specific product rather than assuming any metro or visitor card covers the airport.
The TUSSAM poster effective 7 January 2026 gives daily departures from Plaza de Armas at 04:30–00:09 and from airport arrivals at 05:22–01:00. These are departure windows from opposite termini, not opening hours or times at every intermediate stop. Recheck the dated operator schedule and service alerts before relying on the first or last departure.
- Santa Justa: leave here for the railway station; allow time to find your train and platform.
- Luis de Morales / Hotel Novotel: compare this stop with a Nervión-area hotel address.
- San Bernardo / Hotel Occidental Sevilla Viapol: useful for the station district and separate onward transit.
- Avenida Carlos V / Prado San Sebastián: consider this for the southern side of the historic centre.
- Paseo Colón / Torre del Oro: compare the final walk to riverfront or cathedral-area accommodation.
- Marqués de Paradas and Plaza de Armas: citybound options for the western centre and Plaza de Armas coach terminal.
Terminal orientation map: use the airport's signs for the exact bus stop, taxi rank or assigned app pickup.
Taxi from Seville Airport: Fixed Fares and Conditions
Use the official taxi rank and tell the driver your destination before departure. Aena's taxi page identifies fixed airport fares for journeys between the airport and Seville city. They are per vehicle, not per passenger; destinations outside the city use different arrangements.
The 2026 BOJA tariff resolution also specifies tariff 5 on 24 and 31 December, Holy Week 07:00–21:00 and Feria 07:00–20:00. For special-event nights, confirm the applicable published tariff before departure rather than extrapolating from this ordinary-hours table.
Meter use is compulsory, including fixed-fare trips: it displays the applied tariff. Do not negotiate a choice between a flat fare and an unmetered ride. Request a receipt. Telephone bookings may add the meter amount to reach your pickup, capped at the applicable minimum fare; extra journeys after the first destination are metered separately.
The BOJA luggage and station supplements are labelled for urban tariffs 1–3, not airport tariffs 4–5. Check any unexpected charge against the displayed tariff. For four travellers, EA singles total €24, below either airport taxi fare; three singles total €18. A taxi's advantage is convenience, not an automatic group discount.
| Airport tariff | Published fare | Ordinary timing |
|---|---|---|
| 4 | €26 | Monday–Friday working days, 07:00–21:00 |
| 5 | €29 | Weekday nights; Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays |
Private Transfers, Uber and Cabify
A private transfer is useful when you need a particular vehicle or want arrangements confirmed before flying. Obtain a named provider's written quote for the passenger and bag count. Check whether meet-and-greet, flight-delay waiting, child seats and cancellation are included. A name-board meeting in arrivals is a service feature to confirm, not something every pre-booked car offers.
Uber's Seville Airport page supports on-demand requests and advance reservations. Use the app for the available vehicle category, live price and assigned pickup directions. A generic airport map may not be your meeting point. Check the registration and driver details before boarding.
Cabify's airport instructions place pickup in the P1 parking area's VTC zone. Follow the signed pedestrian crossings from arrivals and confirm the meeting point through the app or driver chat. Do not wait at the ordinary taxi rank expecting an app car to collect you there.
We have not obtained a trip-specific private-transfer or app quote. Compare the total shown for your actual destination; these bookings do not inherit the municipal taxi fare simply because they use the same roads. Neither a reservation nor a live request guarantees an immediate vehicle when your flight lands.
Bus vs Taxi vs Private Transfer at a Glance
This comparison separates per-person fares from vehicle prices. The right choice depends on the complete journey to your accommodation, including waiting, walking and any onward ticket.
For example, one person near Plaza de Armas can save substantially with EA. Four people staying far from its route might reasonably pay more for a taxi, particularly if a second paid connection would otherwise be needed. These are decision examples, not claims that one mode is always faster or cheaper door to door.
Count large suitcases as well as seats when comparing cars. Ask about mobility equipment dimensions if relevant. On the bus, keep bags within your control and leave doors and access areas clear; seek operator guidance for unusually bulky items rather than assuming unlimited storage.
| Option | Price basis | Main benefit | What to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| EA bus | €6 single per person; €8 purchase-day return | Lowest listed solo fare | Correct stop, direction and final walk |
| City taxi | €26/€29 airport tariff per vehicle, subject to conditions | Direct road transfer without a bus change | Tariff, capacity and hotel vehicle access |
| Uber / Cabify | Trip-specific app price | App booking and pickup coordination | Live availability and assigned pickup zone |
| Private transfer | Provider's written vehicle quote | Pre-arranged vehicle requirements | Waiting, bags, child seats and cancellation |
Early-Morning and Late-Night Arrivals
EA does not run through the night. Check the airport-arrivals departure column when landing, and the Plaza de Armas column when travelling out. A late landing just before the last listed bus is not a usable connection until you have cleared the terminal and reached the stop.
Aena lists passenger-terminal hours as 04:30–01:30, with 03:30 opening on some days at Ryanair's request. A boarding pass is not evidence that you can enter during the closed period. Ask your airline or the airport about your particular early flight and its check-in arrangements.
If you miss EA, check the official taxi rank, an app's live availability or your booked transfer's contact number. Allow for queues or a wait for a suitable vehicle. For a very early outbound flight, agree pickup in advance and have a contact/backup plan; do not rely on finding an immediate car at an arbitrary hour.
Getting Back to the Airport
Plan backwards from your airline's check-in, bag-drop and boarding deadlines. Add road time, a missed-bus buffer and the walk to the stop; a map's driving estimate does not include these. Choose an earlier workable service instead of treating the last possible bus as the default.
The outbound EA uses the same broad city corridor, but the stop pattern is not identical in reverse. The operator poster shows Marqués de Paradas only on the citybound route, while the airport-bound route serves departures before arrivals. Check the airport direction and exact boarding location, not just the street where you got off on arrival.
For a rail connection, the Santa Justa station guide helps distinguish station access from the bus journey. Allow additional time between a train's scheduled arrival and EA; a rail ticket and an airport bus ride should not be assumed to form a protected connection. For an onward excursion, compare the airport transfer with the departure-station and booking requirements in our Seville to Córdoba train guide; allow a separate connection buffer.
When using a taxi or transfer, give the pickup address and ask whether a pedestrian street requires meeting on a nearby vehicle-accessible road. Confirm passenger and luggage capacity again if your group has changed.
Once You're in the Centre

EA ends at Plaza de Armas, but you do not have to stay aboard to the terminus. Compare your hotel's address with the stop list before leaving the airport. San Bernardo is an onward interchange in the city, not an airport metro station; changing there requires leaving the EA bus and using a separate transport service.
Read the Seville Metro ticket guide and transport-card comparison before buying an onward product. A rechargeable card is not automatically universal across operators. The MetroCentro tram guide covers the surface tram; it is also distinct from the airport bus.
After dropping your luggage, use the self-guided Seville walk for exploring on foot or compare bike-rental options for a separate outing. For another day, the Itálica bus guide covers a different journey; its ticketing and stops should not be confused with EA.
Mistakes to Avoid When Planning Your Transfer
Save your accommodation address, chosen stop and booking contact before flying. Check current TUSSAM service information shortly before travelling, especially during major events.
- Do not buy the €8 return for a return flight several days later: its published validity is the purchase day.
- Do not read the airport departure window as the city departure window.
- Do not assume an airport taxi fare applies to a destination outside Seville city or includes additional journeys.
- Do not assume every car carries your group's bags, wheelchair or required child seats.
- Do not plan a walk along airport access roads as your transfer.
- Do not use a video or old blog fare in place of the current operator and tariff sources.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Seville Airport have a train or metro station?
No. Take EA or a road transfer first. Santa Justa is the EA stop for the main railway station; San Bernardo offers separate onward city transit, not a direct airport metro.
How much is the EA bus from Seville Airport?
A single is €6 per person. The €8 return is valid only on its purchase day, so it does not cover returning after a multi-day stay. These tickets do not include an onward TUSSAM transfer.
How much does a taxi from Seville Airport cost?
Published city airport tariffs are €26 for ordinary working weekdays 07:00–21:00 and €29 for ordinary weekday nights, weekends and holidays. Special-event timing and telephone-pickup conditions require checking. The fare is per vehicle and the meter must display the applied tariff.
How long should I allow for the EA bus?
As a planning buffer, allow roughly 45–60 minutes for a cross-city EA ride, plus waiting and the walk to your destination. This is not a guaranteed journey time. Use your chosen stop, traffic conditions and current timetable when planning a connection.
Does the EA bus run all night?
No. TUSSAM's poster effective 7 January 2026 lists airport-arrivals departures 05:22–01:00 and Plaza de Armas departures 04:30–00:09. Check the current operator timetable before relying on the first or last service.
What if I miss the last airport bus?
Check the official taxi rank, live app availability or your pre-booked transfer contact. A suitable vehicle may involve a wait. The terminal is not normally open all night, so confirm arrangements with the airport or airline if necessary.
Can I book Uber or Cabify at Seville Airport?
Both providers publish Seville Airport pickup guidance. Follow the assigned instructions in the app; Cabify identifies the P1 VTC parking area. Prices and vehicle availability are trip-specific, and app pickup is not automatically at the taxi rank.
